year manufactured: 2012 For Sale, Impex Assateague Kevlar Kayak. This is the K-Lite boat which is there lightest and highest end boat. Only 49lbs for a 17' 10" boat. It's better suite to a larger paddler, and they recommend someone over 175lbs. I'm 6'1 and 195lbs and it really did fit me perfectly. I am however going back to a standard kayak with a rudder. Got a used Titan VI so this one has to go. I'll miss how easy this boat is to carry around, The handles on both ends are awesome, the rubber hatches are fantastic too. Has a few scratches on the hull, cosmetic only. It's never had or needed any hull repair. I'm the 2nd owner...I knew the first and he was an expert paddler but this boat was just too big for him...he and I actually traded boats after he had had it for only a month, and that's how I ended up with it. It's been waxed every year and always stored inside. Will make a great expedition boat for the right paddler.
