Position: FULL TIME CARPENTER Element Restorations Ltd. is a fast-growing full service residential and commercial construction company based in Campbell River, BC. Serving Campbell River and the surrounding areas of mid to northern Vancouver Island, our company works primarily in residential and commercial renovations of all scopes and sizes. We are seeking skilled, multi-talented carpenters for long term employment and offer a variety of benefits upon completion of a successful probationary period. The preferred candidate will demonstrate skills in the following areas: * Minimum 3-5 years carpenter experience on a variety of construction projects * Ability to read and interpret planning drawings + blueprints, execute scope of work based on said drawings + blueprints * Building envelope experience, including door, window and siding installation to current code specifications * Detailed interior and exterior finishing carpentry * Ability to complete structural framing * Demonstrates strong communication skills with colleagues, clients and trades * Ability to problem solve and come up with solutions quickly * Strong organizational skills and site cleanliness a priority Education + Assets * Red Seal Registered an asset * Journeyman certificate or relevant work experience * Valid drivers license + clean drivers abstract (required) * Reliable transportation * Experience using Buildertrend software an asset * Occupational first aid certificate an asset Responsibilities * Work safely and follow safe work practices and procedures while on site. * Work along side apprentices and labourers to provide direction, guidance, and training * Assist with the construction of all types residential and commercial buildings from renovations to new builds Benefits * Competitive salary based on experience * Extended health plan including vision and dental care * Life insurance and disability insurance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday Send resume to: office@elementrestorations.ca Company: Element Restorations Ltd.
