Position:Project Management Assistant Element Restorations Ltd. is a fast-growing full service residential and commercial construction company based in Campbell River, BC. The preferred candidate will demonstrate skills in the following areas: * Demonstrates strong communication skills with colleagues, clients and trades (both written and verbal) * Proficient administrative skills including composing and preparing correspondence * Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint * Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations * Exceptional interpersonal, and customer service skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively * Attention to detail and accuracy in work * Reliable and punctual * Proactive and resourceful with a positive attitude * Ability to problem solve and come up with solutions quickly * Willingness to learn on the job Education + Assets * Experience in Construction and Service industry an asset * Experience in Sales an Asset * Experience using Buildertrend software an asset * Valid drivers license + clean drivers abstract an asset * Reliable transportation Responsibilities * Work closely with the Project Manager to minimize their need to do task work * Assist with preconstruction planning activities * Assist with obtaining all permits and local authority permission to build * Work closely with team members and decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective project delivery * Assist with price change orders, track requests for information, and coordination of information provided and required by sub-trades and suppliers * Prepare and update the project budget, schedule, and cost report during construction under the direction of the Project Manager * Assist with updating and maintaining weekly master project schedule * Monitor productivity and subcontractor planned vs. actuals in the schedule * Identify, address and resolve issues and problems as, or before, they occur * Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, sub-trades and suppliers. * Support the Project Manager in ensuring total completion of project including contractually and financially Benefits * Competitive salary based on experience * Extended health plan including vision and dental care * Life insurance and disability insurance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday Send resume to: office@elementrestorations.ca Company: Element Restorations Ltd.
