I don't know much about Telescopes and i've never used this. We bought it for my daughter when she was studying astronomy and now it is sitting in our kitchen, never been used. I did some research and this is recommended by a lot of astronomy clubs for beginners and has consistent high ratings. New goes for over $300 plus taxes and shipping. it is adjustable to a lot of angles and a tripod adjusts it to desirable height. Made of durable, high quality alloy. 25 mm & 10 mm Plossl eyepieces for different magnifications. 4 1/2 in aperture. 450 mm FL. It's in as perfect condition as when we bought it. I don't think you'll find as good a quality as this for near this price.
